As Mayor of Carlsbad, it is my special pleasure to welcome you to our city. We have great recreational facilities and plan to have even greater ones in the near future.
Be sure to visit Playground on the Pecos for the younger kids and the Riverwalk Recreation Complex which includes a skate park, handball/racquetball courts and many other activities for teens and adults. There will be an inline skate hockey arena at the Complex in the near future. Also, plan to participate in softball, baseball and soccer tournaments at our fabulous Youth Sports Complex. You might want to take a leisurely walk or ride a bike along the beautiful Pecos River.
